Fractal Biosphere

My Fractal Biosphere world is the combination of two old experiments of mine, which have now been combined into a singular Virtual Reality world. The shell of the world was made with Mandelbulb 3D, a program which can be used to create your own fractal. I was able to export my fractal as low-poly geometry, which I then processed in Maya, and then imported into Unity. I combined this work with another old world of mine, a floating biosphere in space, to create my new home world for VRChat. It is a perpetual work-in-progress: a place for me to experiment with different creation processes.

If you'd like to check out something pretty cool, King Deluxe used my fractal geometry for one of their VRChat events, and that show is replayable! The visuals can be a little straining on the eyes, and will massage your eye muscles in a way that you aren't used to. If you are new to VR you also might get a little nauseous, but it is super fun and quite a unique experience! I would also recommend checking out the other replayable shows by King Deluxe: you would need to look through the world author info of the world I linked below to find those other shows.
