COD: BOCW - Checkmate

The primary work I did on Checkmate was to take the center plane (excluding wings), from it's low-poly blockout state, to its fully detailed and finished state. Concepts and photo ref were provided. This required me to model blockout meshes for the assets I needed made, solve for the modular asset sets and general construction of it all, request those assets to be modeled, place the models when they are finished, and detail/construct the plane further with decals and in-editor modeling. Checkmate turned into a popular competitive map in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War, and my work on the plane was the first significant chunk of work I accomplished on BOCW as a level detailer. I appreciate the opportunity I had to work on this important center-piece of the map. Having to work within a uniquely shaped and contained space was a fun challenge.
